The Saturna Community Pantry provides dignified food access to vulnerable members of the Saturna Island community who are experiencing food insecurity. The Pantry also plays a crucial role during times of emergency and natural disaster, providing food, water, and other urgently needed supplies to evacuees, people impacted within the community, and frontline emergency service personnel.
The Pantry collects donations of both food and money. Those donations provide for the distribution of a variety of items including non-perishables, fresh produce, and meat to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
The Pantry is open to registered participants by appointment every two weeks.
